Imran Khan, born on October 5, 1952, is a Pakistani politician, former cricketer, and philanthropist. Known for his charismatic leadership, he captained the Pakistan national cricket team to its first World Cup victory in 1992. After retiring from cricket, Khan entered politics, founding the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party in 1996.


Over the years, Khan evolved as a prominent political figure in Pakistan. He became the Prime Minister of Pakistan in August 2018, leading a coalition government. His political agenda focuses on anti-corruption measures, social welfare, and economic development. Khan's leadership style often reflects his cricketing days, emphasizing teamwork and determination.


Beyond politics, Khan is deeply involved in humanitarian efforts. He established the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Centre in Lahore in memory of his mother, who succumbed to cancer. Additionally, he founded Namal University in Mianwali to provide affordable education.
